The School Education Department of Punjab is excited to announce the official recruitment of School Teacher Interns (STIs) for the 2025 academic year. This initiative is designed to enrich the educational landscape of Punjab by integrating fresh talent into the teaching fraternity. The recruitment drive offers a unique opportunity for aspiring educators to contribute to the primary, elementary, and secondary levels of education in various districts across Punjab.

Eligibility Criteria To qualify for the STI positions, candidates must be between the ages of 21 and 45 years and should possess the requisite educational qualifications specific to the level they intend to teach. Check Merit Formula for STI Jobs.

  • Primary Level Teachers are required to have at least a Senior School Certificate.
  • Elementary Level Teachers should hold a Bachelor’s degree.
  • Secondary Level Teachers must have a Master’s degree in a relevant field.

Contract and Compensation The selected candidates will be engaged on a contractual basis from February 1, 2025, to May 31, 2025. The remuneration package varies with the level of teaching:

  • Primary Level STIs will receive a monthly stipend of Rs. 38,000.
  • Elementary Level STIs are entitled to Rs. 40,000 per month.
  • Secondary Level STIs will earn Rs. 45,000 monthly.

  • Application Submission: The application window opens on January 24, 2025, and closes on January 22, 2025. Applicants are required to submit their applications promptly by 10:00 AM on January 25, 2025.
  • Interviews: Eligible candidates will undergo a selection interview on January 25, 2025.
  • Finalization: The list of successful candidates will be published on January 29, 2025, at 10:00 AM. Those selected must report to their assigned schools by 5:00 PM the same day.
  • Training: Commencing on January 30, 2025, the STIs will undergo an essential training program to prepare them for their roles.
  • Reporting: Final joining reports must be submitted to the department by January 31, 2025.

Additional Information Please note that no Travel Allowance (TA) or Dearness Allowance (DA) will be provided at any stage of the selection or training process.

    • I have a Bachelor of Arts (B.A) start first semester of food and nutrition.But I have 18 years experience in teaching Feild in different private schools and register FAS schools at different destination like as a teacher, incharge and Reciptionist but mostly work in different schools as a schoolteacher and I can teach secondary classes 6 to 10 in private schools.I have one year diploma in computer registered by SBT also.
